Imola
Imola
The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari is a motorsport circuit in Imola, Italy, which until 2006 hosted the San Marino Grand Prix as part of Formula 1. As one country is not allowed to host two Formula 1 Grands Prix, the race in Imola was handed over to the dwarf state of San Marino. The race track is only 80 km away from Maranello, the headquarters of Ferrari, which is why the race in Imola is also considered a home race for the Scuderia. It is one of the few Formula 1 circuits to be raced on in an anti-clockwise direction.
Imola has been back on the Formula 1 racing calendar since 2020 and the race is named after the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, where the circuit is located.
