Hockenheim

Hockenheim

Home of German motorsport. Famous for its mighty straights, it was extensively rebuilt in the early 2000s. What it lost in history-steeped corners, it gained in thrills. The Bosch Hockenheim Historic takes place annually in April in honor of Scottish Formula 1 World Champion Jim Clark, who died in a fatal accident on April 7, 1968 in the first race for the Martini Gold Cup at the Hockenheimring. Traditionally, the event in spring always attracts around 500 starters and more than 20,000 fans.
